The Midsummer Mile features three waves. You choose which wave to run in. The competitive Women’s and Men’s Waves are known for producing fast times. The Family and Friends Wave will award random prizes to 5 finishers. All participants in the Women’s and Men’s Waves are welcome to participate with family and friends in the Family and Friends Wave at no additional cost.

Located on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, participants should enter through the Main Gate off Snelling Ave for the easiest access. The race start is just north of the intersection of Dan Patch and Underwood Streets. The finish location is approximately one block from the start just north of the intersection of Dan Patch and Cooper Streets. See Map below for details.
Plenty of free parking is available in the State Fair lot between Underwood and Cooper Streets. You may also park on the streets as long as you DO NOT park on the race course. Consult the Course Map for details.

Race Day Packet Pick-up will take place at our Race Day Headquarters at O’Gara’s at the Fair, beginning at 5:00 p.m. O’Gara’s at the Fair is located at the corner of Dan Patch and Cosgrove Streets.
